The Youth Advisory Group will be an ongoing space for young people to influence outcomes that impact them and their diverse communities, through meaningful participation in decision-making and initiatives that will shape the future of the district. Rangatahi will come together, share their views and influence change!

Who is this workshop for?
We're looking for rangatahi aged 12 to 24 from across New Plymouth District (Waitara, Kōhanga Moa, Kaitake and Ngāmotu) who want to help us design the advisory group. People who study or work in the District but live outside are also welcome to participate.

How do I get involved?
Join NPDC, Waitara Taiohi Trust and ZEAL at a co-design workshop at 4pm on Monday 15 June at ZEAL's Youth Centre in New Plymouth CBD.

The co-design workshop will include:

✨Connecting with other passionate rangatahi

🌈Discovering what we hope to achieve

❤️Generating ideas of how the advisory group could best work for our communities

Dream big and get involved, your voice is the future! Get in touch if you have any pātai at wes.milne@npdc.govt.nz

Please register for the workshop by Friday 12 June.
