What are the Pulse Checkers?
Always on the pulse, our team of Pulse Checkers are who we reach out to when we need to get a view on our services, activities, or plans. This team is our go-to to understand what our people think about what we do at NPDC. They do this by answering questionnaires, taking part in focus groups, or being interviewed.
What our people think is important to us and we often reach out to The Pulse Checkers on topics such as:
- local services
- council planning, policy, and strategy
- NPDC spending and funding proposals.

You can join the Pulse Checkers if you're a resident or ratepayer in New Plymouth District and over the age of 18.
