NPDC is considering a land lease at Waitara’s Ranfurly Park for York Developments Ltd, trading as Warner Construction, for a market rent.

York Developments has leased the 4,965m2 site since 1 July 2016 and the new lease would run for seven years from 1 July 2025.

The lease would permit the parking of vehicles, storage of machinery and equipment, and the temporary placement of porta-coms and containers.

We are now accepting submissions on and objections to the proposed lease.

Council officers will give full consideration in accordance with section 120 of the Reserves Act 1977 to all objections and submissions.

You can make a submission on any aspect of the proposed lease.

Address your submission to the Property Officer – Leases. All submissions must be received by us no later than 4pm Monday 5 January 2026.
